The present – crossing borders: 9th edition

For the 8th edition, Métiss’age had grown into maturity: supported by the European Commission (selected among 300 projects), this time it was crossing borders and was centred around intercultural dialogue. The hugely successful events took place in 2011 in 3 European capitals: London, Paris and Rome. With the growth of the project, the events moved to even bigger spaces: the Parc de La Villette in Paris, Battersea Park in London and at Explora, the Children’s Museum of Rome.

In preparation for the 9th edition on the theme of “Loving my City”, our vocation is still to be able to cross more borders, and facilitate intercultural exchange by creating artistically interactive, popular, generous, dynamic, federating and humanitarian workshops and events.

Métiss’age Festival has no other ambition but to become the symbol of a generation that believes in the fundamental values of Mankind
